Virginia Panel Corporation is currently seeking a Sales Engineer to provide product-related technical services in support of sales strategies developed by the Regional Sales Manager (RSM). Base city for position will be determined with input from selected candidate, possibilities include various cities in Virginia, Chicago, IL., Madison, WI., and Detroit, MI. Selected candidate will be asked to spend at least 3 months at company headquarters in Waynesboro, VA for company and product training.
The selected individual will be responsible for:
- Using technical knowledge of the test and measurement marketplace to assist the RSM in prospecting for new customers and identifying new design-in opportunities at existing customers.
- Demonstrating products and evaluates customer application requirements.
Developing and/or delivering in-depth and high-level technical presentations for customers and prospects.
- Proactively establishing professional, technical relationships with customer contacts.
Supporting RSM, Manufacturer Representatives and Customer Service on technical related issues.
- Working with the appropriate Application Engineer from the corporate headquarters to support the field application needs.
Striving to maximize VPC product content when configuring VPC solutions for customer applications.
- Providing technical services to customers relating to assembly, use and maintenance of the fielded product.
- Troubleshooting product quality concerns
Providing post sales follow-up support as directed by RSM.

We are currently looking for an indvidual to serveas the Sales Support Engineer for Europe. The Sales Support Engineer is deployed to tradeshows,industry events and customer facilities within regional assignment. The selected individual will be responsible for providing product related technical services in support of sales strategies developed by the Regional Sales Manager (RSM). This position will be based in Germany; preferably in one of the following cities: Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne/Düsseldorf.
Essential Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Lead Manufacturing Engineer. The purpose of this position is to plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing engineering initiatives towards maintaining/improving existing processes and developing new processes.
Job Description:
- Responsible for the development of routings/manufacturing instructions using manufacturing engineering practices.
- Responsible for studying time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rate and improve efficiency.
- Evaluate and approve drawings, routings/manufacturing instructions, specs and other documents.
- Participate in concurrent engineering design reviews. Manage the successful transition of new products and technology into the production arena.
- Develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods with a focus on automation.
- Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements and workflow; designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Confers with management, engineering and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
- Evaluates, develops and improves the preventative maintenance program for manufacturing equipment.
- Responsible for leading the Manufacturing Engineering group to establish a systematic method to indentify, implement and track process improvements that yield real “green” dollar impact.
- Manage major projects/initiatives that require detailed project management that affect the entire facility and/or affect major customers.
- Provides mentoring to fellow ME’s and establishes learning/training plans for the group. This includes tradeshows, trade organizations memberships and formal training and sharing general technology innovations.
